She launched Merrick Home Experts under Smith & Associates, the premier luxury broker in the greater Tampa Bay area, as a way to serve professional athletes who use Florida as a training base and home.

 

Merrick Home Experts have a rock-solid commitment to responsiveness and their client's privacy. Clare makes sure her clients have access to the most exclusive residences and rentals near all the pro stadiums and training facilities along the west coast. Merrick Home Experts anticipate and coordinate with athlete's agents, attorneys, and assistants to source local vendors and contractors, oversee negotiations, and manage every detail that the athlete and their families require and deserve.

 

Clare's calm, detail-oriented work style and experience relocating, and finding her way through all the most desirable neighborhoods gives her additional insight into what out-of-state clients need to navigate the ups and downs of one of the hottest real estate metro-markets in the country.

 

After traveling with the NYS Realtor® Association leadership group in Rome, Florence, and Tuscany, Italy a few years ago, Clare has begun studying for the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation in hopes of assisting international buyers in their pursuit of a property abroad.
